Associates in Behavioral Counseling

Dr. Stanley Seidman is the founder of the family practice of Associates in Behavior Therapy and has been in practice since 1974.  He has had an office in Plantation and then in Sunrise for over 34 years. His wife and his daughter, Traci are also in the practice.  There are also several other long term therapists enjoying the practice as well.  Dr. Seidman was a friend of Dr. Fred Skinner and follows Dr. Skinner’s behavioral techniques of operant conditioning and positive reinforcement to change unwanted behavioral practices. He enjoys working with a variety of problems including personal growth, difficulties in marital and family relationships, life cycle transitions, occupational stress, trauma, depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders.  Dr. Seidman is a warm, caring, empathic, but direct therapist. Helping others is a primary goal and he goes above and beyond to reach out and help people make changes in their lives.
